Worcester Divers

The club will sponsor trainee instructors for attending the necessary training courses & exams to the value of 50% of the course/exam fees.

In addition, whilst instructing trainee members, reasonable instructor expenses are reclaimable from the club, these include:-

 

·        Air fills

·        Free entry to the pool whilst instructing

·        Annual membership fees (where deemed necessary) to open water dive establishments

·        Entry fees to dive sites (Stoney Cove, Chepstow etc.)

·        Travelling costs – if lift sharing with the trainee(s) it would usually be expected that the trainee(s) will cover the instructor’s travelling expenses. However, up to £5.00 contribution towards travelling cost is available from the club per instructor in the event of instructors having to travel to training events by themselves

·        RIB - The club will waver the £10.00 per day boat fee per instructor on events where the boat is being used specifically for training purposes. All other instructor boat costs (fuel, towing etc.) should be shared between the trainees attending the specific event – though this will be subject to negotiation by those concerned.

 

Unfortunately, bacon buttys & beer, though essential are not considered to be expenses.
