Training
TRY DIVES
To experience the thrill of SCUBA diving we offer TRY DIVES for only £15. All equipment is provided and a dedicated instructor will look after you during the session. Minimum age 12. (Minimum age for Club membership 14)
Starting at 8pm with a safety briefing, you will experience SCUBA diving under the control of one of our qualified instructors for about 45 minutes.
You are very welcome to then join us at the Saracen's Head for a chat about what the club can offer you.
A Try Dive can be arranged for you on most Thursday evenings but you must book first!
All equipment is provided but bring your swimming costume and an old t-shirt.

TRAINING
We can help you train from being a complete beginner to as far as you want to go. Our Instructors are Nationally Qualified by the BSAC.
The first qualification within the British Sub-Aqua Club is OCEAN DIVER You will then be able to dive with other Ocean Divers.
Generally we have two intakes a year for the Ocean Diver course; one in February the other in September though we can make allowances depending on circumstances
Did you qualify with another agency? (e.g. PADI, SAA.) You are welcome to join Worcester Divers. We can help you to cross-over to BS-AC qualifications.

If you are an Instructor, then to become a BSAC Instructor please see BSAC welcomes divers from other agencies
We can train you up to First Class Diver and are able to run most of the Skills Development Courses in-branch.
We have members who instruct nationally on the Instructor Training Scheme and so can give you all the support you need to go as far as you want in the BSAC
