We are a friendly group of scuba divers from Worcester and the surrounding area. The club is affiliated to the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) but welcomes divers from other training agencies.
The club has its own dive boat and runs trips to Plymouth, Cornwall, Dorset, West Wales and Scotland. We also visit inland dive sites and sometimes charter hard boats.
We meet at Perdiswell Swimming Pool in Worcester every Thursday at 8:00pm. We are normally found after the pool session at The Dragon Inn on The Tything, Worcester.
Unfortunately the pool is closed until mid September which means we will not be able to offer any try a dive sessions or training. However please do still get in contact via the contact us page so we know you are interested. We will then contact you when we can offer sessions again. We will still be meeting at the Dragon Inn once a month and you are welcome to join us – details are on the club calendar.
We have teamed up with BSAC Training Centre DM Scuba Training. If you are new to scuba diving and want to progress quickly we can offer a range of flexible training options while still being part of the clubs structure.
If you’ve never dived before, then come and have a go with us in Perdiswell Leisure Centre. It is a great chance to experience the sense of freedom and weightlessness that scuba diving offers.
Worcester Divers welcome qualified divers, regardless of which agency they’ve learnt with. You can dive with us using your existing qualification, just bring your existing log book and qualification card along when you come down to meet us.
Unfortunately Perdiswell Swimming Pool is closed until mid September which means we will not be able to offer any try a dive sessions until then. However please do still get in contact via the contact us page so we know you are interested. We will then contact you when we can offer sessions again.
If you have always wanted to learn to dive or are simply curious about scuba diving, then a Try Dive with Worcester Divers is the perfect introduction!
In the safe confines of the pool, a BSAC experienced member will introduce you to the basic skills and equipment needed to experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the very first time. Try Dives cost £20 (reduction for 2 or more people and students).
A typical Try Dive session lasts about 45 minutes. It involves poolside tuition on diving techniques and equipment, followed by a scuba dive in our pool with a BSAC-experienced member.Book a Try Dive
